    Does any of this sound familiar? About Hello! I'm Julia, a recovering C-suite Executive Assistant! I initially came to the health and wellness space to better understand my OWN body. I felt stuck and confused. I didn't recognize myself anymore, but I knew there had to be a solution! The Full Story Living with burnout, approaching menopause, and looking to overcome autoimmune issues, pain, and poor body mechanics from sitting at a desk most of the day, I embarked on a journey of self-reflection and discovery. Unfortunately, this also came with frustration, misdiagnoses, and a hella lot of gaslighting. Exasperated at the lack of information and attention given to women’s health issues, I started a podcast about the subject. A few months later, I returned to school for my health coaching certification and to finish my Pilates apparatus training. At 45 and after a traumatic knee injury, I took a bold step and left my lucrative real estate development and finance job to launch Julia G Wellness. It was terrifying, but I was determined to fill the information gap in healthcare and empower people, particularly women, to take control of their bodies and pursue their best life at any age. It is an incredible privilege to earn my living following my passion. For a long time, I thought it was too late to pivot to a new career and I'm so glad I didn't let this negative thinking get the best of me! In the biz , we call this a limiting belief and one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is helping people overcome such beliefs. I am a wife, a proud dog mamma and I enjoy hockey (GO DEVILS!), Gen-X-themed music festivals, and all things sci-fi or related to the mysteries of our universe. I am a published writer, a three-time alumnus of the switched-up storytelling series No You Tell It! , and a co-host of the podcast Circling the Drain - a show about the period before you stop getting your period. I have lived in the Middle East, and my travels have taken me to not-so-common destinations like Cuba, with it's vibrant history and rich traditions, and Egypt, with its ancient and mysterious natural wonders. I support equal rights for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity and I believe in reproductive justice and that a person has the right to make informed choices about their bodies and lives. How It Works If you're looking for menopause support, we typically meet for three months, with 45-minute sessions occurring every other week. Highly motivated clients who do not have overlapping health concerns usually find resolution within this three-month period. However, the process may take 6 to 12 months if you are dealing with other health issues. I aim to empower you to gain independence and autonomy over your health. Once achieved, some clients choose to move on completely, while others continue to see me as needed. Ultimately, this is a client-centered experience, and the choice is yours! This session costs $150. Following the intake, sessions will be 45 minutes long and priced at $110. Sessions occur every other week. Book my intake! Three-Month Package Three-month packages are priced at $660 and include the 1-hour intake session along with six 45-minute sessions scheduled every other week. This is a savings of $150!
